Phonomancy
Sound-based magic, usually relying on spoken words, phonomancy is a school of magic that is primarily used by minstrels and their ilk to enhance their performances. The school of magic does have more powerful uses than merely improving one's vocals, however--it can be used to create sounds so powerful that they burst the eardrums of those who hear them.
