Singing in the Steam is a vibrant steampunk musical produced in 290 AR by the Suorran Film Group. Set in the bustling city of Steamhaven, the film chronicles the journey of Gene Kelvin, a down-on-his-luck performer, and his encounter with Donald Gearwright, a robot with a hidden talent for music. Together with aspiring actress Delia Reynolds, they set out to conquer the stage of the grand Automaton Opera House. Through catchy tunes, elaborate dance numbers, and a backdrop of steam and gears, they discover the true meaning of friendship, love, and artistic fulfillment.
