Kiivra
(a.k.a. Everchange, She Who Roams, The Faceless)
Kiivra is a goddess of many things, but among them all is a singular constant: isolation. She is a goddess who watches over the lost, the lonely, the wandering. Those who do not have a home, but wish to have one, can find such comfort in the embrace of Kiivra and her welcoming followers. This puts her in direct conflict with Madrakk, the deity of outcasts, who seeks to corrupt those who feel isolated and draw them into a cult of wickedness and festering rage at a world that has presumably punished them. Some may assume that Kiivra is also in direct conflict with Bolkor given his province over orphans, but Kiivra and her followers view those who find comfort in Bolkor as no longer lost, lonely, or in need of a new community, feeling no desire to take them from their newfound home. To Kiivra and those who worship her, any home that nurtures and protects is a good one, even if it is not her own.
Appearance
Divine Form
Any who have seen Kiivra's divine form and lived to speak of it have stated that it was simploy indescribable. One claimed that she "has a thousand faces and none all at once" and that her body was "amorphous, beautiful, and terrifying". She is spoken of as a woman whose physical manifestation is entirely formless and inconsistent, like looking at the reflection of a crowd of people in rapidly moving water.
Avatar
Curiously, Kiivra is not believed to have physically appeared to anyone in any sort of avatar form. If she has, no one has realized it happened. Even her followers say that they have not encountered a physical avatar of their goddess in Prime, though they all claim to have felt her presence, such as through the guidance of the wind or a pull toward a particular path when faced with a fork in the road. Of course, such deeds would violate the pact that binds the Greater Deities and prohibits intervention into the affairs of mortals, so it is likely just conjecture and the attribution of natural phenomenon do a deity—confirmation bias, essentially.
Holy Places
Kiivra has many holy places throughout the world, they are usually small shrines set up in places where those who wander may be found. It is a common practice for followers of Kiivra to leave small, carved wooden statues of her holy symbol at forks in trails or at spots they have camped. These are the typical holy places devoted to Kiivra, though it is also likely that orphanages will have a small shrine devoted to her as well, often alongside or even intermingled with a shrine for Bolkor. While such small altars are scattered all across Elzveir, truly grand cathedrals devoted to the worship of Kiivra cannot be found here. There is only one significant place known in Aen that is deeply devoted to her, Nightreach, which is believed to be in Aduna, though its exact location is not known to any but those who have settled there. Still, some small temples do exist here and there, most notably Orphan's Bed in Aerdis.Orphan's Bed
Nestled deep within Bardholt is an unassuming temple devoted to those who are lost and have no place to go. It is believed that all paths within the confusing, twisting forest of Bardholt lead to Orphan's Bed eventually—so much so that the advice given to those wandering the forest is to simply keep moving and they will eventually find safety. Orphan's Bed has doors opened to all who wish to find rest, comfort, and community. You are permitted to stay as long as you like, provided you perform work for the temple that is within your ability, such as farming, education, or construction.
